Οι ιθύνοντες του Δικέφαλου ήταν αυτοί που είχαν πλησιάσει πρώτοι τον πρώην παίκτη του Ολυμπιακού και παρά το πρέσινγκ που δέχτηκε ο ίδιος και από το Περιστέρι, αποφάσισε να επιστρέψει στην Ελλάδα για χάρη του ΠΑΟΚ.
