Μια αγωνιστική πριν από την ολοκλήρωση του πρώτου γύρου της Basket League, ξεκαθάρισαν τα εισιτήρια για το Final 8 του Κυπέλλου Ελλάδας.
Ο Πανιώνιος αν και ομάδα της Β' Εθνικής, θα βρίσκεται στο Final 8 μέσω της κατάκτησης του Κυπέλλου Ερασιτεχνών.
Οι επτά ομάδες που θα συμμετέχουν από την Basket League θα είναι οι: Ολυμπιακός, Παναθηναικός, Περιστέρι, ΠΑΟΚ,. Άρης, ΑΕΚ, Κολοσσός Ρόδου.
