Πολύ σύντομη ήταν η θητεία του κόουτς Κώστα Μέξα στον Ηρακλή, αφού ο Έλληνας προπονητής όπως όλα δείχνουν θα ενσωματωθεί στο προπονητικό σταφ του Παναθηναϊκού υπό τον Χρήστο Σερέλη.
Μετά το τέλος του αγώνα του Ερμή Σχηματαρίου με τον Ηρακλή (87-85), ο κόουτς Κώστας Μέξας θα ολοκληρώσει την βραχύβια παρουσία του στο πάγκο των κυανόλευκων και θα ενταχθεί στο προπονητικό σταφ του Παναθηναικού, οπού είναι head coach, ο Χρήστος Σερέλης.
Ο Ηρακλής θα αναζητήσει προπονητή ενόψει του αγώνα του Σαββάτου (25/2) στο Ιβανώφειο.
