Μέσω ενός βίντεο, ο Βέλγος γκαρντ ανακοίνωσε την αποχώρησή του από τη Βαλένθια, στην οποία αγωνίζεται από το 2013.
Ανέφερε ότι θα συνεχίσει την καριέρα του στην πατρίδα του.
Ο Σαμ Βαν Ρόσομ έχει κατακτήσει μεταξύ άλλων, ένα πρωτάθλημα το 2017 και δύο τίτλους του Eurocup το 2014 και το 2019.
