O Πεναρόγια μετά το παιχνίδι της Μπαρτσελόνα με τον Παναθηναϊκό στάθηκε στις δηλώσεις του Αταμάν, που αναφέρθηκε στις αποφάσεις του διαιτητικού τρίου λέγοντας πως ο τεχνικός των πρασίνων έβλεπε άλλο παιχνίδι.
Ο προπονητής των Καταλανών σχολίασε με επιθετικό τόνο τις δηλώσεις του Αταμάν για αυτά που είπε για την διαιτησία.
Αναλυτικά όσα δήλωσε ο Ισπανός προπονητής:
"Δεν ξέρω ποιο παιχνίδι έβλεπε. Κάνει την δουλειά του (σ.σ ο Αταμάν) και είναι καλός σε αυτό. Νομίζω ότι ήμασταν ίσοι στα φάουλ
Ήταν ένα παιχνίδι της EuroLeague, ένα σκληρό παιχνίδι και οι διαιτητές δεν επηρέασαν το αποτέλεσμα. Ήμασταν η καλύτερη ομάδα και νικήσαμε.''
