Οι «κιτρινόμαυροι» διέκοψαν την προετοιμασία τους στα Ιωάννινα και επέστρεψαν στην Αθήνα, λόγω επιβεβαιωμένου κρούσματος κορονοϊού, με την αποστολή της ομάδας να υποβάλλεται στις απαραίτητες ιατρικές εξετάσεις.
Τα αποτελέσματα των εξετάσεων ήταν αρνητικά, με τους ιθύνοντες της Ένωσης να ανακουφίζονται και την προετοιμασία να συνεχίζεται επί αθηναϊκού εδάφους.
