Ο Σάσα Βεζένκοβ δεν αγωνίστηκε στον θρίαμβο του Ολυμπιακού επί του Παναθηναϊκού, λόγω τραυματισμού, με τον «ερυθρόλευκο» φόργουορντ, όμως, να πηγαίνει κανονικά στο ΟΑΚΑ, να συμμετέχει στο καθιερωμένο τελετουργικό και να γνωρίζει την αποθέωση, με την επιστροφή της ομάδας στο ΣΕΦ.
Οι φίλοι του Ολυμπιακού αποθέωσαν τον Βεζένκοβ, ζητώντας του να μην ακούσει τις… σειρήνες του ΝΒΑ και να παραμείνει για πάντα στο λιμάνι.
