Μετά την αναμέτρηση με τον Προμηθέα, για την Basket League, η ΑΕΚ βλέπει και το εκτός έδρας παιχνίδι της με την Νίζνι Νόβγκοροντ, για το Basketball Champions League, να αναβάλλεται λόγω κορονοϊού.
Η Ένωση αιτήθηκε στην FIBA την αναβολή της αναμέτρησης, για την πρώτη αγωνιστική των «16» του Basketball Champions League, λόγω πολλαπλών κρουσμάτων κορονοϊού στις τάξεις της ομάδας, το οποίο και έγινε αποδεκτό.
Έτσι, η πρεμιέρα των κιτρινόμαυρων στην φάση των «16» αναβάλλεται με την FIBA να καλείται να ορίσει νέα ημερομηνία διεξαγωγή του αγώνα.
