Οι ανεξέλεγκτες πυρκαγιές που καίνε την Αττική, έφτασαν και στο κλειστό γήπεδο της Νέας Πεντέλης, το οποίο έχει υποστεί πολύ σημαντικές ζημιές από τις φλόγες, με την ομάδα της περιοχής να δημοσιεύει φωτογραφία του καμμένου κτιρίου ενώ έγραψε πως σημαντικό είναι η ασφάλεια του κόσμου.
