Μετά το τέλος της αναμέτρησης μεταξύ της Μακάμπι Τελ Αβίβ και της Χάποελ Χάιφα, ο Έλληνας προπονητής αναφέρθηκε στο περιστατικό που συνέβη με τον Σάντι Κοέν και τόνισε πως όλοι θα πρέπει να σέβονται τους κανόνες που υπάρχουν στην ομάδα.
«Ο Κοέν παραβίασε τους κανόνες. Δεν είναι μεγάλο θέμα, αλλά η ομάδα έχει κανόνες και όλοι πρέπει να τους σέβονται», δήλωσε χαρακτηριστικά ο Γιάννης Σφαιρόπουλος.
