Ο άσος της Ρεάλ Μαδρίτης, Σέρχιο Γιουλ μίλησε μετά την ανακοίνωση του Βασίλη Σπανούλη σχετικά με την απόσυρσή του από την ενεργό δράση το Σάββατο (26/6), επισημαίνοντας μεταξύ άλλων ότι ήταν δύσκολος αμυντικός να το μαρκάρεις.
Ο Σέρχιο Γιουλ ανέφερε στο ποστ ότι: "Συγχαρητήρια για την απίστευτη καριέρα σου και καλή επιτυχία στον νέο κεφάλιο της ζωής του. Ήταν πάντα πολύ δύσκολο να σε μαρκάρω".
